We will review and point patrons to a range of delightful and inspiring books and resources (e.g. toys, software, games) for those looking for recommendations to help their families grow and thrive.
To be clear, we do not review resources because we carry them. Rather, we review resources first, then we seek out the ones that we know you’ll love from the publishers so we can make them available. So it’s your family first, always.
We are faith-backed and black-owned and our shop selection will reflect our desire to amplify fresh African voices, who create culturally relevant resources that celebrate the African heritage, inspire hope, and can empower African children as they grow and prepare to participate on the world stage. Also, a portion of proceeds from Householder Books go into empowering Africa-facing nonprofits.
